Difference between a High Lunge and Warrior I

Difference between a High Lunge and Warrior I

Unlike High Lunge the back heel in a Warrior I is glued to the mat stretching the calves and ankles.  The back foot is turned on a 45 degree angle.

For both poses;
Hips are squared. Shoulders are squared but relaxed. Make sure the knee is either directly above the ankle or a bit behind.  Never in front.  The back leg is straight but don't "lock" your knee.
